[MR] Bardic Competition at Ymir

Noble skalds pay head!  As so many of our warriors test their arms on the tourney field this day, so does it please Father Odin, our mighty patron, to test our skills, dull from the winter’s chill.  The winds, while still strong, die down and soon the season will warm for us to go a-Viking.  As we prepare to plunder the shores of many a Saxon lord, come test your word-smithing and skills of song ‘gainst others of your ilk that you may better prepare to inspire our warriors to greater victory in the days to come! 
   
  The competition’s premise is “All things Viking,” documentation appropriate but not required; original compositions welcome.  Please be sure to keep all pieces reasonable.  We have the hall from the noon hour until 2 hours hence.  Every minute over 10 will doc you a point in performance.  Also, there will be a bardic circle after feast so prepare to brave the cold that you may hear tell of glorious battles and heroes of old in many a silver spun Norn’s tale!
