Ah, excellent idea!
There are all sorts of artisans that make items for combat but might not really understand the mechanics of what is needed.

non-fighters to learn about arts martial?

Subject: [MR] A&S Sponsors for non-A&S people
Greetings all,
I've been reading the posts recently and found an interesting tidbit about
the
The Seargents of St. Aidan having an A&S display and it got me to
thinking. There was a time in Atlantia, when a person was being considered
for the chivalry, one of things that asked about them was "Do they
participate in the Arts & Sciences?" Is this still so?
Does anyone remember teaching squires to dance in the early 80's and "Squire
Choirs"? Ok the last one was met with much hillarity but some of you knights
may remember this.
I would like to volunteer to be a mentor/sponsor/teacher to a fighter/man at
arms or squire in the Northern end of the Kingdom who would like to learn an
A&S skill or who's knight feels they should learn some A&S skills. I can do
a variety of arts and would be happy to share them. This relationship would
be in consultation with your Knight or Head of Household.
You may contact me off list if you are interested.
