Stores are running low on food staples and many are dipping into their stashes of food to feed as many as they can.We need FIREWOOD, FOOD, BATTERIES, FLASHLIGHTS, PROPANE, LIGHTERS/MATCHES, CANDLES and PEOPLE WITH TRUCKS/VANS who are willingto take a drive to the Tulsa, OK area.My house in Tucson will be the collection point for Atenveldt.THL Conal Mac Naughtan is doing the same in Albuquerque for the Outlands.Those of you in kingdoms farther out, gift cards to Wal-Mart are greatly appreciated and can be sent to Their Excellencies Ian & Kelandra at the address below, in the letter from them.Please let me know ASAP. I know there are populacemembers in the Barony of Northkeep (Tulsa OK) who are still with outpower and some few with out heat. All are doing ok due to experiencewith SCA cold weather camping. Most of those who were in direstraights have gathered together in the homes that do have heat. Somepeople are getting power back and the electrical company is saying byTuesday of next week all power will be restored...but we have a snowstorm rolling in tomorrow so who knows what it will dump on top ofus. Right now almost a week after the storm Tulsa still looks like awar zone with downed trees, limbs, and power lines everywhere. Travelaround Tulsa is tedious and time consuming. Some stores are open butare taxed trying to keep up with demands. Most people in Northkeephave lost everything in their fridges and freezers at this point andwith store supplies running low and no power to cook with meals arebecoming interesting.What is needed most is firewood, flashlights, batteries, candles,.andsmall canisters of propane (camp stove/ camping heater sized),Chainsaws and those who can use them might also be helpful for a fewpeople who need cutting done but with all the downed power lines itis hard to say where it is safe to work and where it is not.If anyone decides to head this way let me know and I will give youphone numbers of people who are in Tulsa and in need so that yourefforts can be coordinated with them that need the help the most.Kindly,Ian & KelandraBaron & Baroness of NorthkeepJerry & Teresa Herring304 N.
