Classes:
"Raiders or Traders?" - Lord Bassi inn fiskni Einarsson - The class will
be on Norse Expansion and the influences it had on the trade routes, such as
the silk road, in Medieval Europe. We will discuss the way the Norse had a
direct hand in extending the Silk Road that traditionally ended in the great
city of Constantinople all the way to Birka, in Sveland.
The Game of Go - Lord Elys Storm - A game that is easy to teach, easy to
learn but very difficult to master. Come to learn the basics and enjoy
working out strategies as you play throughout the day.
The Spice Road: A Taste of Gold - Lady Graçia Esperança de Sevilla - An
overview of the impact of the Spice Trade along the
Silk Road from several perspectives: Culinary, Economic and Expansion.
Square stitch with beads Lady Miriel Crawford - Come learn how to square
stitch with pony beads to make trim, favors, etc for whatever you
need...we're using pony sized so it's real easy to see what we're doing, but
any sized rounds will do for whatever application. If you want to take home
a bit to practice with, $3 gets you a small collection of ponies, some
string (carded) and instructions.
