Absolutely. Even someone who has checked in advance and *is* comped should
troll in as a courtesy to the event staff. Troll still needs to record
attendance. Additionally, we are *never* allowed to comp Non-Member
Surcharges, so someone who is comped but isn't a member (or even just
doesn't have their card on them) is still obligated to pay that pesky three
bucks. If someone is a member and is comped, the local group is still
required to include their membership number with the paperwork to prove to
Society that they aren't owed an NMS.
