Here's a lesson you must learn, first you pillage *then* you burn Happy
Birthday <boom> Happy Birthday <boom>---


Another year has passed and once again it's time to celebrate the birthday
of the Barony of Dun Carraig. Get your pillage on because we're going Viking
this year in honor of our new Baron and Baroness.

We will be choosing our new Baronial Champions with many tournaments of
skill. There will be a Vikings Vs. Villagers melee complete with a beach
landing. Will the Villagers fend off the invading hordes? Or will the
Vikings loot pillage and burn yet another village. Pick a side and find out
for yourselves.

For non-combatants, there will be merchants available to sell of their
ill-gotten <cough>err…I mean properly salvaged treasures. And for those so
talented, an Arts and Sciences competition for any and all who want to show
off what they have accomplished.


Have wee ones? Fear not for there will be a children's corner as well as
various children's activities covering "A day in the life of a Viking
child". Bring them over and they will learn many wonderful things (cleverly
disguised as fun) from our Chancellor of Minors, the Lady Gwenllian Anwlyd.

There will be a scrumptious feast prepared by our very talented Lord Matthew

Costs: Site Fee is $10 per person for adults, $5 per person for children
5-17 and toddlers and babies 4 and under are free. Feast is $8 per person.
(No day board is provided, but there are plenty of places to eat in Waldorf
if you need to slip out for a quick lunch.  A list of local amenities, as
well as directions, will be provided at troll.)
