Greetings again, gentle cousins!
I've already begun to hear from people, which once again tells me that
there are many generous, wonderful souls in this Kingdom! Thank you
all so much!
With permission of Madame l'Autocrat, I am happy to announce the Gift
Basket Event for Coronation! There will be a table set up in the Hall
where you can bring donations. Going on the notion that it is always
fun and inspiring to see what people are creating, you will have the
option of displaying your donations during the weekend so that lovers
of the Arts and Sciences can see what sorts of wonderful things you
are making. If you have such a critter, documentation for the item
would be welcome for display purposes; you never know when someone
might walk by, like your work, and leave you a token or a note of
appreciation! But documentation is not required; just generosity of
spirit and a desire to show off your work! :-)
I will have paper, note cards, pencils and the like on hand at the
table in case you need them; I would very much like to be able to
offer thanks and recognition of your kindness with a note, so I do ask
that you leave me your contact information (SCA name, mundane name and
mailing address are fine). Each person who gives a donation will
receive, in addition to a thank you note, a small beaded token of
gratitude for your munificence.
So please think about what you would like to donate and display;
whether you might like to document it to share your knowledge and
discoveries; and definitely write up that contact info! If you have
any questions, I can be reached thusly:
