You have a lot to say about other peoples' money. If
they don't feel their money belongs towards paying for
people at high table it's their choice. If you feel
guests at high table shouldn't have to pay then offer
to pay for it. It's as simple as that. We have no
right to tell others what to do with their money.

I don't consider these comments close comparisons.
One involves doing favors with my time which is
sometimes much more plentiful than my money.

In a private situation in my home where I'm deciding
what to do with my money then no. But if I were at a
feast hosted by a group then yes.

I believe this attitude to be completely wrong. I
believe a Crown can ask for anyone's service, peer or
not. I believe a Crown has no right to depend on my
personal financial resources or the financial
resources of a peer.
However if you feel strongly that they should be able
to depend on your personal financial resources then
work with the exchequer's office to figure out how to
create a legal and acceptable high table fund and put
your money into it.
