[MR] Gene's update for 4-30-07...

Today we got to talk to one of the doctors and our case manager about some of the questions we had.  

It seems that Gene will have to take the Vancomycin for his blood infection for another 10 days.  

The case manager was trying to get the dialysis scheduled for an outside clinic for when Gene goes home.  She found out that the clinics only take people that are on life time dialysis and not people like Gene that only will need it for a short time.  The case manager will look into that further to see what we can do about that.  

Tomorrow we will talk to the kidney doctor to see where we are with his kidneys.  How long we will need to be on dialysis if he can tell us.  

Gene's enjoying the emails.  And wants to thank everyone for sending them.

It's so nice to have so many people that really care about Gene and I.  Thanks for all your thought and prays.
