[MR] Gene's Update 4-26-07...

Today Gene had to have dialysis again.  Yes he is urinating but it's still not flushing a lot of the toxins.  The doctor seems very positive that his kidneys will bounce back, it will just take time.  Gene's not happy about having dialysis but what can you do.  

He is also very home sick and want to come home.  Very tired of being in the hospital.  He would love to sleep a whole night without being woken up every couple of hours with the nurses coming in and turning on the lights just to take his bp.  

All of the therapist are saying that he shouldn't be there very long.  They will review his case on Wednesday and will let us know if he can come home or if he will need to stay longer.
