[MR] From Their Majesties - Tragedy in Black Diamond

Greetings Unto the Populace of Atlantia from Your King and Queen,
 
In this dark hour, as faith in the nobility and goodness of humanity is shaken to its core, the nation and -- in particular -- Our populace are struggling to make sense of the horrific shooting tragedy at Virginia Tech. Friends and loved-ones have been taken, close neighbors and cheerful strangers are gone -- all stolen from life's warm embrace. 
 
While Our minds are eased that all of Our people are physically safe, Our hearts are heavy as each life snatched away has left behind a painful emptiness. That loss is causing a ripple-effect of sorrow felt across the Knowne World, and We mourn the fact that such violence will likely leave deep scars across Our lands -- wounds that can weaken trust and encourage fear. 
 
We send Our strength and all of Our love to those who have been touched by this catastrophe, and Our deepest sympathies to the members of the Barony of Black Diamond as they endure this difficult time. Never forget that Atlantia is a proud Kingdom and home to a courageous people. As long as we remain united -- whether in grief or joy, anger or forgiveness -- noone can ever undermine Atlantia's spirit.
