[MR] An apology on behalf of my son and Lord Alsandair

 Hail and greetings to the populace of Atlantia



Lord Alsandair and I would like to thank you all for standing behind us
during this upsetting episode. Thank you for taking the time to write to
this person and share your distain for his actions and to safeguard my
husband's SCA career and reputation.



As a parent of two teenagers and one tween, I know they do stupid things (Ok
really stupid things).  I am pleased that the father has taken actions to
correct any slander done to my husband and I thank him for his public
apology.



The irony in this story is that during one of my early events (but by no
means my first), Allsandair and I DID spend two hours talking in the parking
lot on the other side of the woods. It was the first of many long talks we
shared while falling in love. While this was in the East Kingdom (and not
during his time as Castellan), the post had a horrible thread of truth to
it. This made it even more distressing to us.
