The cutoff is probably context dependent. For example, if someone in Caer 
Mear wants a ride to Ymir, asking on that BB is probably useful. Asking 
for a ride to the Costumers Symposium this weekend, maybe not so much.

(And yes, I know lots of folks who have been putting together carpools to 
the Costumers Symposium from Stierbach and points north...)
