The Triton Principal Herald will sponsor a Roll of Arms Competition at the upcoming Crown Tournament of Their Gracious Majesties, Valharic and Arielle! Said competition is intended to be a heraldic record of the majestic competition which will take place for the determining of Atlantia's heirs!

What is a Roll of Arms, you ask? The online _Encyclopedia Brittannica_ defines a Roll of Arms as "(an) illuminated manuscript describing (blazoning) and often illustrating (emblazoning) the arms of persons present at a particular battle or tournament."

The rules for the competition are simple. Using the registered heraldry for the combatants, prepare a manuscript depicting the entrants to Their Majesties' Crown Tournament, with the final pairing and the eventual winner denoted. For example, your page might contain 14 small escutcheons of all the entrants by rank, then 2 larger escutcheons of the finalists, with one even larger escutcheon of the winner, listing the names under each depiction.

It is my understanding that the listing of entrants to the tourney will be posted this week, and I am amiable to allowing persons wishing to prepare a roll of arms to go ahead and begin with that listing, with the caveat, however, that they remember that not all who send in letters of intent actually enter the tourney on the day! So, you may find that preparing your competition entry ahead of time will result in an incorrect historical record. In addition, at least the final round and victor must be done on-site. All rolls of arms must be turned in to me one hour following the completion of the tourney.
