Unto my wonderfully stylish Atlantians does M. Rosalind Jehanne send 
greetings and thanks! I thought we all looked mah-veh-lous despite the 
cold. I would like to thank all who went that extra curly mile and 
joined me in my hair-raising adventure. I would like to announce that 
the winner of the competition was Lady Wulfoyn Aelfwines, whose gorgeous 
red braids sported glass beads, earrings and jewelry made by her, and a 
wonderful smile to accessorize perfectly - congratulations and 50 
denarii to you! I decided to give a second prize of 25 denarii to Lady 
Katheryn McKetthyrike for not only making (and dying with Red Zinger 
tea) her front false hair, but providing documentation as well :-)   And 
a third prize of 10 denarii to Lady Magy Fraser for the best Roman 
hairdo with short hair and spiffy pincurls.  Most honorable mentions to 
M. Sine's Roman cornrows, Lady Thyre, Lady Tangwystyl with good use of 
ribbons, Duchess Padraigin's peacock feathers (nice touch!), and of 
course our most elegant Queen Arielle with some added red curls in the 
morning, and braids in the evening. I beg pardons and indulgences if I 
have mangled any spellings in the process of this missive. Again, my

PS - it took 3 rounds of shampoo and conditioner and half a tube of 
"satin shine" to get back to plain old me - but it was still worth it....
