Tournoi des Enfants (May 12, 2007) Event is looking for teachers and instructors. Can you teach a class in the Arts and Sciences to the youth of Atlantia? Are you a Youth Marshal and need to train others to become Youth Marshals? If you answer yes, you need to come to this event!

While Youth Combat, Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Youth Rapier will be ongoing throughout the day, so will there be classes and other activities scheduled.

We need teachers and instructors in all areas, such as: Music; Storytelling; Calligraphy; Sewing and Needlework; Illumination; teaching/running Games; Woodcrafts; Banner-making; Heraldry; and more!

We will have five Pavilions set up for classrooms.

We are asking that all materials be at no cost to the attendee. Teachers can limit the number of students per class as well as specify the age group you wish to teach. We need instructors for all age groups up to the age of 17. All classes will be on a first come basis for attendees.

Baronies of Atlanta: Sponsor a Classroom and/or a teacher! Can you donate materials for an instructor? If so, contact me. A hefty donation of classroom materials will get your Barony listed as a "classroom" name, i.e., Calligraphy in Tent (insert generous Barony's name here) at 10 am for beginners (ages 10-12) ~~ instead of ~~ Calligraphy in Tent A at 10 am for beginners (ages 10-12).

We will let you fly your banners over that tent.

Go to: www.sudentur.atlantia.sca.org/kidevent.php and scroll down to Classes and Activities and download the "Classes and Activities" form. Fill out the instructor's form (one form per subject) and email it to garadh at verizon.net. Please email this form back to me no later than May 1, 2007. As the classes are being formed, I will post updates.

Parents of our Atlantian youth: This is an excellent event for you to showcase your heirs and arrange those necessary marriage contracts for your children so you may further your landholdings and alliances. Once you have finished your family business, there will be plenty of opportunities where you can offer a helping hand, teach a class, or cheer on the sidelines.

Please visit the website www.sudentur.atlantia.sca.org/kidevent.php for information and more importantly, pre-register! Come out and cheer our Atlantian Youth as they show their talents and skills.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
