I would echo both her excellency's support of Lord Alsandair and her request
for a public apology (as well as her thanks to Donal for his words).

My apologies if this comes across as a "me too" post, but, like Baroness
Mary Isabel, I want to make my support of Lord Alsandair, who said nothing
and did nothing to deserve such a low blow, abundantly clear.  I'm
privileged to work with him as an officer, am extremely fortunate to have
him as my deputy chronicler, and am honored to call both him and his wife my
friends.  And I find it sad, even pathetic, that such accusations could be
made in a public forum for no apparent cause.
