[MR] Regalia Question: Court Baron/ess

Although custom and tradition do support Duchess Rachel's statements below,
it should be pointed out that Atlantia has no sumptuary laws. There is no
restriction on height, color, number of points, etc, save what is restricted
by Society law for Royal peers.

You may find that if you travel to other Kingdoms who DO have sumptuary
laws, they get confused by Atlantian coronets in general. People in the
Midrealm think I'm a Viscountess if I wear my county coronet because it's
silver.

It is 6 points, they can either have "pearls" (meaning some type of round
stone or jewel or etc) on the top of each point or it can have jewels on the
band below each point.

Otherwise, it's up to the person's taste, finances, persona, and ego. I've
seen coronets made of metal, horn, leather, and in one case a rack of
antlers. I've seen all kinds of jewels, stones, pearls and ornaments. It's
all a matter of what does the person consider tasteful, does it go with
their persona, and can they afford it or afford to have it fixed when
eventually down the road something breaks off or it gets squished.

Subject: [MR] Regalia Question: Court Baron/ess

  Good evening, gentle cousins!

Might I inquire of someone more familiar with the Great Book of
Atlantian Law (or with the Kingdom website) where I might find
information on acceptable regalia? Specifically, I seek information
on what a Court Baron/ess coronet may (and may not)
be/have/exhibit/etc. For instance, is there a height restriction? I
believe it's six points and there may be pearls on those points; are
other gems acceptable? Are there any other important things to
  consider from a design perspective?

I thank you all most humbly in advance for your assistance!

  in Service,
  Baroness Meli
