[MR] Youth Combat at Coronation

Coronation shall have a full day of Youth Combat for
all who wish to attend.  Classes will be given to
parents and youth who are interested such a youth can
be trained and authorized all within the day.  I shall
have some spare equipment on hand and the class shall
include the making of a weapon.
Combats of all types shall be held if numbers allow.  
 These combats shall be designed such that the Roman
virtues will be reinforced.  The combatants shall be
judged in terms of:

 Comitas
"Humour" Ease of manner, courtesy, openness, and
friendliness. 

Firmitas
"Tenacity" Strength of mind, the ability to stick to
one's purpose. 

Veritas
"Truthfulness" Honesty in dealing with others. 

Industria
"Industriousness" Hard work.

  Virtus
"Courage" Especially of leaders within society and
government. 

Nobilitas 
Excellence of character and actions accompanied by
high ideals.

Those interested should gather immediately after
morning court at the Equine ring.
