Beth spoke to the Doctor in charge of the case about Gene. They have decided to keep him in ICU as he still has a number of different tubes in him and he can get restless enough to pull them out. So they want to keep him in ICU to be able to monitor him more closely than the ward nurses can. His BP is high and has been all day but thay have added a new med and a med patch that should help regulate that. He slept OK during the night. They have also taken him off his pain meds but are leaving him on the medication for anxiety to help counteract the restlessness. It is now a "wait and see" time.
