Good Afternoon,

Some of you may remember me, my name is Nick Pachis, (Scadian: Colin McNab), 
I just wanted to post a message on behalf of a number of people at Virginia 
Tech to assure those that may have seen the news and are worried that we 
have received reports through the Black Diamond listserv that many of the 
people are safe and unharmed.

I can not confirm for everyone at this time, but it appears that all of us 
are ok.  If you are worried about friends or loved ones at Virginia Tech I 
implore you to be patient as the phone networks and email servers are 
currently very busy.

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me and I will 
try to answer what I can.  For specific details on the event I would 
encourage you to check the news sources as I do not have specific details.
