i was asked to forward this email message to the merry rose on behalf of the
staff of the event this weekend.  this promises to be a good day of fighting
(and other stuff but im here to push the fighting) and the event fee
includes lunch.  sir bryce was to host a regional war practice on site on
sunday but has an ankle injury preventing him from doing this.  i have
offered to take care of this practice for him.  i am willing to do this
practice on saturday if that frees people up for their travel plans on
saturday evening or sunday morning.  or both if people want.

 

my plan is to focus on my philosophy on fighting and how it relates to small
unit tactics.  then its up to you guys and what you want or need.  with toc
coming up soon this should be a great opportunity to work outs the bugs.  so
come join us at black prince this weekend.

Subject: Black Prince this weekend

 

After much computer problems I have one up and running, for how long I don`t
know but I`ll take what I can get. I wanted to update the list on the event
this weekend.

 

The gate will open friday at 3pm and close at midnight. It will re-open at
8am saturday morning. There is no $3.00 at the door upcharge price as was
listed.

 

The cost of the day and camping include stew and bread. There is no actual
feast but space in the feast hall is available for those who wish to set up
and use it.

 

Anyone wishing to volunteer to help with set up, troll or cleanup can see
Ravenna or I at the event. 

 

There are no children`s activities scheduled but anyone wishing to bring
things for the kids to do is welcome to and can let Ravenna know if you need
anything from her.

 

Saturday night we will have a TV and DVD player set up the same as last year
for the kids to watch movies. 

 

We still need a target archery marshal to run the day`s shooting. Please
contact me if you are able to help. 

 

The mounted games are still planning to attend and I am sure they will
welcome anyone wishing to help with their set up and day`s activities. 

 

The heavy tourney will be based on the amount of fighters that attend, but I
am confident there will be plenty of fighting for those who want it.
