Basket Weaving Workshop 17 Sep 2006 10:00 - 5:00 in Frederick Maryland.

 

We have two vacancies in the workshop, available on a first-come first
served basis. The instructor is Duchess Caterina (Kitten). The cost for
materials is $15.00. We'll be making a large market basket. Please see
details below.

 

If you'd like to come, please RSVP to me ASAP, and I'll provide you
directions. (Frederick is about an hour west of Baltimore, and an hour
north of DC.)

Dear Cheryl,

 

I have ordered the reed & handles for this.  The cost per person is
$15.00. They will go home with an instruction handout & an 8"x10" market
basket with a swing handle (easier to pack in the car!).

Here's the list of things that the students should bring with them:

 

Pencil

 

12" or 18" flat ruler

 

Measuring tape

 

a Bucket or similar large container to hold water for soaking reeds

 

a bath towel (you WILL get wet on this ride!)

 

Sturdy scissors or small pruning shears (for cutting reed)

Letter opener

Ice pick or awl
