[MR] Dogs at events

It is better to be safe than sorry. Whether we ignore the situation or not,
sooner or later it will happen. A person will be injured by a dog, and we
have no rules in place to cover such a thing. I spent some time in Texas,
and every event we went to required that you bring proof of rabies to the
troll if you brought your dog to the event. I, being a responsible dog
owner, have no problem with that. And anyone who owns a dog and loves them,
should not have a problem with that.

Whether dogs are allowed should be up to the autocrat. If they do not what
to mess with the extra paperwork then they should state that no pets are
allowed. If the autocrat does not mind dealing with the extra work and
wants to allow pets then, proof of rabies shots, should be required. It is
to protect humans, not the animals, as animals cannot sue if injured. People
on the other hand can and will, in most cases.

I agree that there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. They, like children,
react to how they are raised. If not given training and rules, they can
cause lots of trouble, but if given love and understanding they are quite a
pleasure to be around.

Well, that is all I have to say about that.
