Greetings all and God's rich peace fall upon you.

It has reached us that on October 20, 2006, at War of the Wings, a minor
scuffle between the noble Barony of Windmasters' Hill and the noble
Barony of Sacred Stone, a torchlight benefit tourney will be held. The
proceeds are being earmarked for breast cancer research.

Who hasn't been touched in some way by this malady? My family has been
threatened by it. My friend Geva de Lisle won her fight by fighting
until the end with great courage and sacrifice. This within the last
year, God rest her merry soul and God soothe all our souls for her loss.
The list of others is so long as to bring most of us to tears for
their loss or their struggle.

We will be in Spain on a belated honeymoon at the time and cannot
attend. Still, my lady wife Magdalena and I cannot let this tourney
occur without our own participation in some other way. We therefore
choose to participate in the following manner: We will match the $2
entry fee for each fighter who enters the torchlight Tourney and
challenge all who read this missive to do the same, or in some other
manner. Come one and all to the fight. Break our purse, if you will.

His Grace, the Duke Ebonwoulfe, is coordinating this tourney and will
help those who cannot attend participate in this manner by posting the
number of entrants and an address where we may fulfill our obligation.
I encourage all who will to publicly accept our challenge and encourage
others to do so, that those who strive that evening may know the worth
of their struggle.

Could it happen, that in our lifetimes, this scourge of the beautiful
would be cast into the void?

Lady Magdalena Engracia de la Huerta
Baron Rodrigo Falcone, KSCA
