On Dec 9th, The Canton of St Georges will be hosting Yule Toy Tourney to
benefit needy families across the upstate of South Carolina and invite our
neighbors and friends to come share a day of fighting, fun and fellowship
with us on this grand day. Included is the event flyer and other
information.

Description:  We invite all of our neighbors to come south for the winter to
enjoy a day of fun, friendship and fighting with The Canton of St Georges.
We are hosting the event to gather toys for children whose holiday season
would be brightened by the simple act of being given a toy and we hope that
you will join us for this day of fun.The Autocrat would appreciate an email
RSVP so we have an idea of how many are planning to attend

Martial Activities:   A double elimination list, a thrown weapons list, an
archery list and a double elimination Rapier list will be held with a prize
for the winner. Multiple weapon forms will be allowed.

A donation of 1 new unwrapped toy per weapon form you wish to fight is asked
to enter the list.

Armor inspection will begin at 12:30 and the list will open at 1pm

Arts & Sciences Activities:  We will host a populace judged A&S competition
with a prize for the display with the most Populace Votes

The theme will be period children's toys, documentation is not required but
is preferred

Cost Notes:  The site fee will be the donation of a new unwrapped toy to
support local charities including "Country Santa". Donations are not
requested for children under 5 years of age

Site Restrictions:  Dry site, no open fires and no pets please.

Please do not enter the Social Quarters of the Lodge as it is only open to
members of the Moose. We will have use of the restrooms and a large room but
can not enter the Social Quarters

Feast Information:

Merchanting Information:  We are sorry but we will not be able to host
merchants at this particular event.

Other Information:  Their Excellencies of Nottinghill Coill will be holding
Court at 5pm.

Directions:  Make your best way to Interstate 85 and exit on SC exit 44 -
White Horse Rd/Highway 25. If coming northbound you will turn right; if
southbound you will turn left. Continue on White Horse Road.  At the 3rd
stoplight you will see a gas station on your left and a mill to your right.
Turn right continuing on Highway 25 for approx. 2 miles. Harris Road will
be on your left. Turn on Harris Road. You will see the Moose Lodge on the
right.
