[MR] 1002 Nights - Feast Menu and Additional Notes

Aloha!

There will be a more detailed menu with the proper names for dishes and with allergy warnings at Thousand and Two Nights: The tale containers; but here is something to wet your appetite's. We currently have 12 spaces left for feast but there will be a waiting list at troll.

Lunch: Lentils, beef & chickpeas, hard boiled eggs with onion-skins, pita bread, and apples. (Lunch is included in the site fee.)

Feast
First Course: Chicken with walnuts, rice pilaf, and herb salad
Small Plate: bread, olives, and feta cheese

Second Course: Lamb with fruit, rice & lentils with caramelized onions, eggplant, yogurt & mint sauce
Small Plate: Dates, figs, and pomegranates

Third Course: Meatballs, cous-cous, yogurt, sabsi kookoo, and sugared nuts

Dessert: Ladies' navels, stuffed apricots, hais, and rosewater rice pudding

Baroness Rowan requests that people attending the pearl knotting class bring needle nose tweezers. She will have some on hand but does not have enough for all the kits.
