Merchants Needed at Herbst Angemessen
November 17-19
Grandy, NC
At the Weeping Radish Brewery

Merchant fee is one donated item worth at least $10.00 (items to be used
for prizes and silent auction fundraiser for the Barony). They will have a
prime location - right between the parking lot/building area and the
fighting field. Everyone going to watch the fighting will have to pass
through or around the merchant area. A limited amount of space is available
inside the building for merchants. First to sign up for it, first to get it.
Merchants should bring their own tables and chairs, etc. for display.
Outside merchants may want to bring a day shade or tent as well. They may
bring kerosene or propane heaters as desired to help them keep warm (for
outside only - the building is heated). Camping available onsite. There may
be some room to "crash" inside the building - cots and bedding will not be
provided by the site. So bring air mattress's etc. The Riveria Motel is
five miles from the site on Caratoke Hwy (NC 158). (I should be posting info
on hotels by the beginning of November). Merchants will be able to sell to
the public, so they should do pretty well - and they might want to gear
their items more towards the general public than to SCA members. Contact
Brandwyn Alston at BrandwynAlston at gmail.com for more information about
merchants. Reserve a merchant space with Cordelia at curtnmissy at cox.net
especially if you want an indoor space. Indoor spaces do not come with
tables or chairs either.
