Greetings!!

I hope all of you had a safe trip home and a most memorable event!

First and foremost thank you to every person who did anything at all to assist with this event.  There is no possible way that this event could have been pulled off without your dedication and work.  

To Their Excellencies of Windmaster's Hill and Sacred Stone - I also send my thanks.  You assisted greatly with providing a day of competition in which to test ourselves, but did so in the spirit of friendship and camaraderie which added to the glory of this event in a way that nothing else could have.  

And to all the attendees - thank you!!!  We had over 650 attend this event with no problems.  Once again the SCA has shown to me and to many what a glorious thing it is to be a SCAdian!

And last, but not least, thank you to Rufus Pigboy for providing us with a magnificent event site!!

For those that were unable to attend Sacred Stone was the victor of the day - but only in points.  Every person who competed from the smallest child to the eldest adult appeared to walk away with a sense of pride in their accomplishment.    That is more important than any point could ever be.

Those asking about the t-shirts - the order forms are still available on the War of the Wings website (http://www.warofthewings.com ).  There are generic War of the Wings I t-shirts in both green and blue and the Sacred Stone t-shirt of the Phoenix flaming the Kitty Hawk is available as well.
