I hadn't realized so many here in Atlantia knew Tristan until I saw the
announcement of his death posted here the other day.
Tristan was a member of the Order of the Silver Crescent in the East and
this was posted today on the SC list. To all who knew him and sorrow at his
loss, my sympathies.

John Paul McLoughlin
John Paul Tristan McLoughlin, 41, passed away on Thursday, October 12,
2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Red Bank, N.J. and had lived
previously in Tinton Falls, N.J. and Philadelphia, Pa. John most recently
worked as a computer consultant for Scott Financial Co. He was formerly
employed at Frankford Stiles, a non-profit organization that provides
after school art, dance and music instruction to inner city children in
Philadelphia. He was a 1984 graduate of the Monmouth Regional High School
and Stockton State College graduate in 1989. John was very creative and
had many friends. Survivors: John is survived by his mother, Joyce Otte
McLoughlin of Tinton Falls; his father, Thomas McLoughlin in Virginia; his
brother, Thomas McLoughlin Jr., M.D. and his wife Rebecca of Center
Valley. Also surviving are his two nephews, Ryan and Aidan McLoughlin; his
niece, Keelin McLoughlin and his aunts and uncles, Janet and George
Holbrook of Stockton, N.J; Patricia and Thomas Schultz in Virginia,
Catherine and Ray Arnold in Maryland and Donald and Donna McLoughlin in
Illinois. Services: A memorial gathering will be held at John E. Day
Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank on Wednesday October 18, 2006
from 3-5 p.m. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family through the
funeral home website at www.sidun.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made in Johns memory to The American Cancer
Society, 801 Broad St. Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
