[MR] On the wearing of awards

I have a Norse persona, and I've incorporated my medallions and other nifty
tokens into the beads that hang from my brooches (my bling string). It might
not be period appropriate, but it's not that far off, and it looks cool. An
added bonus: I always know where my medallions are.

First thought is it depends a lot on your persona. How would your
persona display medalions/badges of rank? Do you know of someone else
who has the same persona as you that you could ask?

I know SCA-wise there are collars of maintenance (which I think is what
you're calling a chain of office), but again, is it appropriate for
your persona? I know for individual medalions, many people just wear
the highest ranking one and leave the rest in the suitcase.
