Greeting to the Populace of Atlantia

Here is a listing of the activities for the Youth of atlantia being offered
at our Birthday Event "The SCA goes Hollywood" in Waldorf, MD

*Youth A&S Competition*
Age groups
0-6

*Youth Archery Class*
Taught by Lord Muirghen Rhuadh
This will be a 1 hour class
Lord Muirghen will be providing the necessary equipment.
Must be at least 5 years old to participate

*Youth/Children Archery Tourney*
Youth Archery Tournement following the Archery class . This is open for
experienced youth archers as well as beginning archers. Let's have fun.

*Youth Class – Courtesy, Etiquette and Courtliness Class*
Taught by Baroness Mary Isabel of Heatherstone
This will be a 1 hour class –
(Please note this class is open to all Youth 9 years old and above) This
class will fulfill the requirements for Courtesy, Etiquette and Courtliness
core Atlantian Pages Academy Class

Banner Project*
The children will be using fabric paint place their handprint on a large
banner. This banner will be presented at Middle Eastern Event/Investure in
February

*Coloring Contest - *
Age
0-4        Will decorate/color preprinted
5-7        Will decorate/color preprinted
8-10        Design-decorate
11-14    Design-decorate
14 and above –     Design-decorate

Prizes : 1st place prize for each age group. And prizes for Best use of
Color and Most Period looking.


*Scavenger Hunt*

*Crown Hunt – Scavenger hunt*

1-6         Child & Parent/Guardian scavenger hunt.
Prizes:  awarded

*Event Ever-Quest*
7- 9        Scavenger hunt
Prize: 1st and 2nd place.

*Grail Quest - Scavenger Hunt*
10 – 14      Follow the Clue scavenger hunt
Prize : 1st place and 2nd place.

*Adult Grail Quest *
(almost the same as kids but for the adults – this will be found at the
games table)

*Story Time*

*Poppets*
Puppet making project. Children will decorate their own hand puppets.
AGES
0-6     at         Station one (start first)
7 and above     Station two (– 10 mins later)

Special Mystery Project*
Full details of the project will not be posted here–
At court the children will present a gift.

Pretty Pretty Princess Hats and  Hero Helmets*

Station one we will be making and decorating Cone shaped princess hats

Station two we will be making and decorating Helmets.

KITTY IN THE CORNER
HOPSCOTCH

Coloring pages & Crayons, board games, puzzles and several toys for various
ages

This Children's area will be open to all.

Just a reminder, this area will be
UNSUPERVISED by DC MOM

*Wee-ones Quiet Corner*
A quiet area for our youngest members and their parents. This space will be
open for setting up portacribs for those well-needed naps, for a quiet
nursing/feeding of babies and for changing babies..

*Reminder per Kingdom LAW*
10.3.1   Minors attending an event must have either a signed Minor Waiver,
or a signed blue membership card, before admission to an event.
10.3.2   Minors under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter (or remain
on) an event site without an adult who is designated as being responsible
for them. If the adult in question is not the minor's parent or guardian,
that adult must have a signed medical authorization form from the parent or
legal guardian, to be presented at registration at the event. *This medical
authorization form must be notarized. *
