[MR] How hard does it hit?

A challenge for atlantia's esteemed engineers, please. We've been talking about the different weapon blades (rapier/schlager vs foil/epee) and how hard each hits when striking it's target.

A schlager based rapier weighs 2 lbs. The blunt at the point of the weapon measures 3/4 of an inch diameter. Assuming your average SCA light fighter can lunge at 3 meters per second what is the force of the impact in newtons per square mm?
now assume that the combatants are both lunging, so the closing speed is 6 meters per second. how does that change things?

A representative epee weighed 1 lb. The tip measures 3/8 of an inch diameter, and the very same SCA fighter should still reach a speed of 3 meters per second. what is the force of impact in newtons per square mm? now with both lunging and closing at 6 meters per second?

The question I'm asking is: Given the weights and speeds of the weapons at impact, how hard does each hit, given the size of the blunts on each weapon? Does the rapier with it's greater weight hit harder despite the bigger blunt, or does the epee, despite it's lighter weight, hit harder because the force is distributed over a smaller area?

thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.
