Well if Yorvik --> York, then Storvik -->
 
Another nickname for the area at that time was "Stork-ville"

As a bit of trivia, another popular phrase/advice of  the time was "If you are 
going to visit the Greater Storvik Co-Prosperity Sphere, don't drink the water." 
It was due to the fact that for a period of about year or so several gentles 
announced that they were expecting an addition to their families after visiting 
Storvik.
