[MR] Unevent Issues

I don't think Alisandair was suggesting that we quell this discussion, just
that all the folks who have made these suggestions would put them out there
at Unevent.  Because, while this is a great forum for discussing and hashing
out ideas, I don't think actual policy changes ever come from the e-mail
list.
