Greetings in return ~
We are rather new to this embroidery thing, but recently purchased a Singer CE-100 Futura. It uses multiple file types without needing conversion. You may wish to investigate which machine is best. I know from experience that there are multiple files in Atlantia, but none of the ones we have are .PES; however, our machine recognises .PES without conversion.
Here are the files types readily recognised by the Singer machine mentioned above:
.FHE
.CHE
.HUS
.XXX
.PSW
.PEC
.PES
.SEW
.EXP
.DST
.PCS
Hope this helps,
Alexandra

Greetings!
I'm contemplating picking up a machine for my wife for christmas, but
I'm
concerned with the apparent lack of digitized images that are readily
(read:
freely!) available. Will I need to pick up the rather pricey digitizing
software as well, or is there a cache of SCA related .PES files
somewhere
that I have been unable to locate? I've found the ones that are up for
the
Middle Kingdom's awards, and while there are some officer files there,
I'm
looking for some that would be more relevant to us here in Atlantia,
Group
Devices, Kingdom Awards, etc. Is there a collection of such around?
