[MR] misc unevent comments

Tempers?  I actually thought this was one lively
discussion where there weren' tempers for once. 
Although I may start cursing if I don't find a better
keyboard than the one at this airport kiosk!!

The issue with commitments is that it's often not
prior commitments but surprise commitments.  Ex I
would like to help my church with a project that
several other people  have cancelled on at the last
minute.  Once I get a first hand idea of what the
project is really like then I'll be more willing to
hand it off to someone who doesn't need to be at U.

If you musttake a vacation day just to make unevent
then you don't have the flexible schedule I was
referring to.  My boss lets me work long hours Mon-
Thurs so I can leave whenever I want Fri. Course being
the  1st db person to fix several problems they've had
3 years straight doesn't hurt...

I've avoided autocratting myself because my first
Atlantian project was not well managed.  Since that
was more than a decade ago and I've gotten better at
managing my stress, I may do what I can to fill in
that need

Maybe after I'll get this draft finished...
