Network Engineer



Description

Design, installs and supports Windows/NT network.  Performs troubleshooting 
to isolate and diagnose common problems.  Upgrades network hardware and 
software components as required.  Installs, upgrades, and configures network 
printing, rights, security, and software on file servers.  Provides 
customers with network technical support.  Responds to the needs and 
questions of customers concerning the access of resources on the network.  
Establishes network customers, customer environment, directories, and 
security for networks being installed.  Work is complex and performed with 
little or no supervision on routine work.



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree: or 5 years of related experience and/or training: or 
equivalent combination of educations and experience: and a MCP.  Experience 
in Windows NT, Windows 2000 Client, Windows 2000 Server, MS Exchange, MS 
Outlook, Compaq hardware, LAN/WAN, routing systems, or TCP/IP.  Customer 
service skills training is required.



** Must be a US citizen and be able to pass an extensive background check 
and also pass a drug screen.**
