Good gentles of Atlantia who practise the Art of Defence:
 
There has been, of late, a great deal of discussion on this list, of
subjects generating great interest amongst those who practise the Art of
Defense.
 
But not so much to the Kingdom at large . . .
 
There has been enough such discussion, in fact, to cause me to think that
enough people with such interests are around, to justify starting an
"Atlantian Fencers' List," if such a list does not already exist . . .
