First, forgive me if you get this email several times
over. I am simply trying to see that credit it given
where it is due.

Second, forgive me if I forget your name on this list
because I could swear that I owe half the kingdom a
word of thanks for all of their help with Sapphire
Joust.

I wish first to thank Their Royal Majesties for
attending Sapphire and making it a truly special and
memorable event. The same thanks I also extend to
Their Highnesses, and to their Excellencies of Caer
Mear, and to all of the landed baronage who came to
celebrate the Silver Anniversary of this Kingdom.

Next I wish to thank my staff:
Baroness Ysabeau- reservations and troll
Sir Bryce- MIC and list field co-ordinator (and
supportive husband *grin*)
Lady Lisette- MOL (She gets the Iron Lady award for
number of hours spent manning the MOL table!)
Master Fritz- Land steward
Lady Iseulte- A&S Co-ordinator
Earl Mika Longbow- Archery
Larry Baxter and Kenelm Rogan- Thrown weapons
Baroness Oriana- for the beautiful site tokens
Ren Morgane- CIC
Lord Miguel- Merchant Coordinator
Anne of Isenfir- Waterbearing
Dame Anne le Couer- for planning the Queens Solar (and
her husband Master John for cooking and sending up the
outstanding food)
Lady Sorcha Graughn- decorations set up
Lord Uilleag Ó Conmhaic- prizes for archery and
thrown weapons
Lord Muin maqq Mínaín- Sapphire and Ruby prizes

Next, I wish to thank the miriad of people who worked
tirelessly throughout the weekend and assisted any way
they were able. It is the dedicated assistance of
volunteers who make events complete and organized.

Gustav von Silverwald, William Thomas, Lazaros
Tagaris, Domenico Barbiere da Mantova, Sir Tacius, his
household and the Stierbach encampment for their
assistance with break down, Constantina, Manus, Gorm
of Berra, Ysolt de la Mer, every single person who
took a shift at troll or volunteered to herald,
everyone who marshalled, who helped with set up and
with breaking down.

I am not jesting when I tell you that this was a
Kingdom wide effort. The Barony of Lochmere has my
thanks for the use of their listfence. Mistress
Genvieve brought all of the historical regalia and the
baldequin out. The Shire of Isenfir offered food for
all who wished it. People from all over the kingdom
volunteered to assist wherever they could to make the
event smoother and better.

I also wish to thank everyone who came out, especially
those who pre-registered. They tell me that the
courtesy of pre-registrations are a thing of the past
and how difficult it is on autocrats when they do not
know how many to expect at their events, however, to
the 450 who pre-registered, you have as much of my
thanks as those who I have listed here by name for
making things easier on myself and my staff. Thank
you for the huge response and courtesy of
pre-registering.

I hope and pray that all returned from their travels
safely and happily. I thank you ALL for coming to
Sapphire and if I could wish for anything more it is
to hope that I see each and everyone of you next year
return to vist Caer Mear and enjoy Sapphire Joust
again.

With sincere gratitude,
Melisent la Ruse
Autocrat- Sapphire Joust
