[MR] Midsummer Twilight Tournament Feast

Greetings good Gentles of Atlantia!

In just under three weeks, Buckston-on-Eno will be hosting a Midsummer
Twilight Tournament, which is an event in reverse!

What is an event in reverse? There will be all sorts of activities in the
morning, followed by feast at 1 pm, followed by more activities, then a
light supper for a nominal fee, followed by a Tournament!

As feast will be in the early afternoon, we have decided we will not be
selling feast space on site. PLEASE go ahead and register for the event
ASAP. Reservations must be postmarked by Friday, June 9th so I will know you
are coming when I go shopping!

Menu:

Bread with flavored butters (sweet and savory)
(Bread, butter with cloves and cardamom, butter with long pepper and sage)

Stuffed eggs
(eggs, mustard, cider vinegar, fresh rosemary)

Cowcumbers dressed with salt
(cucumbers with salt)

Lemon Sallet
(lemons and sugar)

Hedgehogs (marzipan)
(almonds, sugar, water, preservative, oil of bitter almonds, possibly other
ingredients, pls inquire day of feast)

Green Sallet (dressed with vinegar and herbs)
(salad greens, herbs, cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar. Greens and herbs TBD,
pls inquire day of feast)

Chicken Pie
(Chicken, currants, eggs, spices, salt, pie crust)

"Pears" in wine sauce
(pork, long pepper, black pepper, cubebs, red wine, mustard, honey, salt,
fresh herbs)

Royal Dish
(rice, lamb, almond milk, sugar, salt, almonds, saffron)

Spinach Tart
(spinach, Parmesan, ricotta, olive oil, pie crust)

Herbed Peas
(peas, herbs tbd)

Strawberries with crème fraiche
(strawberries, cream, buttermilk, sugar)

REMINDER: FEAST IS AT ONE O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON!
