Greetings and well met!! My take on this is to courtsy to the royalty, 
pointy hats of all flavors, and my friends, and all and sundry, because 
it makes the game more fun, AND reminds me that I'm not in Kansas 
anymore, but in the more gracious, courteous, and hierarchal Middle 
Ages. The tough part is when you give reverence to the bride and groom 
coming up the aisle at a mundane wedding :-)  YIS, Ros
