[MR] Court report for Sacred Stone Novice Tournament April 8, 2006

Herein is the court report for the Sacred Stone Novice
Tournament.  It includes the last court of Her
Excellency Kisaiya, the Investiture of Baron Marc and
Baroness Alianor, Their Excellencies first court as
well as the court of Their Majesties Michael and
Seonid.  My gravest apologies for the lateness of this
report.  The notes from the court were put in a "safe"
place.  Said notes have recently been found and the
can be duly reported.

Last Court of Baroness Kisaiya

After receiving permission from Their Majesties
Michael and Seonaid,Her Excellency Kisaiya held court.
Lord Thorsten of Hawkwood presented a gift of the
sword named Kisaiya on behalf of Lord Jusef to
Baroness Kisaiya.
Lord Remy du Shot attired in resplendant garb
presented the gift of a peacock fan to Baroness
Kisaiya.
Lady Maeve Griffensward was released as Arts and
Sciences champion.
Lord Christophe of Grey was thanked for his service as
Archery champion and released.
Vicount Axel of Tavistia was called forward and
released as the Armored Combat champion.
Lord Raphael de la Rosa came before Her Excellency as
was released as Her Rapier champion.  He remained to
escort Her out.
Making Her final thank yous Baroness Kisaiya returned
the coronet to the keep of Their Majesties.  She was
escorted out by Lord Raphael to thunderous cheers.
Lord Christophe and Vicount Axel remained to guard the
coronets until they were claimed by the new baronage.

Investiture of Marc and Alianor

Their Majesties called forward Sir Marc d'Aubigny and
Mistress Alianor atte Red Swanne.  The original
coronets of the Barony of Sacred Stone were presented
and Marc and Alianor were invested as the fourth Baron
and sixth Baroness of Sacred Stone.  The court of
Their Majesties was then closed so the days activities
could commence.

First Court of Marc and Alianor

In the evening Their Excellencies held Their first
court.  First They called forth the children of the
kingdom and presented them with gifts.  Then those for
whom this was their first event were asked into court.
 Next Lady Kisaiya the steward of the event was called
in to announce the winners of the various competitions
of the day.  Next gift baskets were presented to Their
Excellencies of Nottinghill Coill, Hawkwood, and
finally Windmasters Hill.  Lord Keiran the Hunter was
called forward to present a "citizen of Windmasters
Hill back to Their Excellencies.  After much knashing
of teeth it was decided there would be war. 
Court having calmed down Kyle, Cecilia, Lynn, and
Shirley were brought before Their Excellencies and
presented with Drakken Eggs. 
Lady Brianna O Duinn, Baroness Anara, and Lady
Allegranza Marcovaldi came next before Marc and
Alianor and were awarded Flames of the Phoenix.
Vicount Axel and the Canton of Salisbury Glenn next
presented a gift of bubbling effervescents to Their
Excellencies.
Next a number of good gentles were awarded their
medallions for the Royal Rounds scores. 
Tim of Crois Brighte, Rorik Friesland, Fergus
Fletcher, Gertrude the Mutilator, Bassi inn fiskni
Einarsson have achieved the rank of Marksman.  Lorelei
and Estevan Perez achieved the rank of Archer.
Next the Canton of Aire Faucon presented Their
Excellencies with embroidered patches for the baronial
cloaks.  Their Royal Majesties Michael and Seonaid
then entered the hall and held a royal court.

Court of Michael and Seonaid

Lady Kisaiya Zingara was the first person called into
court.  She was made a Baroness of the Court for Her
long work and service as the royal representative in
Sacred Stone.
Eleanor of Grey was brought before Their Majesties and
awarded the Order of the Coral Branch which also
raises her to the nobility with an Award of Arms.
Next Lord William Thomas was summoned to the presence
but had stepped out of Their Majesties court.  The
children of Atlantia were called up and presented with
toys while the court waited for William Thomas.  Upon
his arrival he was presented with the Order of the
Silver Osprey and a nice Spike stick puppet.
Baron Marc present His Majesty Michael with a gift of
a Japanese sword guard.
Their Majesties called in Edward of Shirebrook and he
was told that an Award of Arms was not appropriate for
the sorts of things that he had done and promptly he
was Granted Arms.
The Corsarium presented a fine gift of over two
hundred dollars to Their Majesties travel fund.
Lady Alexandria Montgomery was summoned into court and
presented with the Order of the Opal.
Lord Phillip Jaegar was called before Their Majesties
and awarded the Order of the Sea Dragon.
The final peice of business was the inducting of Sir
Christian von Nuremburg into the Order of the Sea
Stag.
There being no further business the court of Michael
and Seonaid was closed.These are the events as I have
recorded them.  I apologize again to Their Majesties,
Excellencies, the Clerk of Precedence and those
members of the populace who received awards.  It was
truly an honor to get to herald for both Their
Majesties and Their Excellencies.
