Not much actually, because by this fall they will have closed the *old* 
bridge in preparation for its upgrade. There will still be massive 
construction, and only three lanes in each direction, come autumn: just 
like now, only in a slightly different location.

Boy howdy, are there *ever*. Likewise for one weekend in July (I forget 
which), that they're saying will be much worse.

I'd strongly advise that anyone coming from Richmond proper or points 
south take I-64 west to I-81 north. An alternative would be US-17 north to 
I-66 west to I-81 north.
