But then would not a simple nod of the head or polite acknowledgement of the
person be more appropriate than simply going on with what you are doing?
I have known Royals that avoid the kitchen and other "places off extreme
business" simply to avoid people having to stop what they are doing to show
reverence.
I guess my point is for the most part Crowns/Baronages understand that folks
can not always rise and cursty/bow or kneel before them in court but should
the effort not be made or if not explained?
You bring up another good point, is Casual familiarity reason for someone
not rising when the Crown/Baronage approaches? i.e. I've been close friends
with Baronne Alianor for some time. Long before she was the Baroness of
Sacred Stone, does this give me leave to continue treating her (publicly)
like a girlfriend?
