I realize that online publication doesn't reach everyone, but why does
everyone talk about online publication as if it were some kind of a huge
burden? Some sort of software is certainly being used to layout the
newsletter now, the days of cutting and pasting typed copy are long
over. There are a number of good .pdf creators and some of them are even
free. They look like printer drivers to the other software on the
computer. The process is simply to take whatever page-layout software
you are using now, and click Print, then select the PDF Driver. It takes
less than five minutes to turn a Word document into a PDF file and
upload it to a web server.
