I can help with that...

Hard-boil as many eggs as you'd like to serve. Peel them, then place in a
pot which contains a goodly amount (this means *dark*) of beef bouillon or
broth. Letting them cook for a few minutes before turning off the heat under
the bouillon pan will speed absorption of the broth into the whites. Let
cool, then place covered pan in refrigerator overnight or longer. Drain and
serve.


There is no exact recipe because I made it up after tasting the 'OOP but
good' Tea Eggs. We do not have a period recipe for this. I am comfortable
serving them because both cauddling eggs in broth and soaking eggs in
various brines and preparations are found in period recipe collections. YMMV
but still... they are pretty tasty and a nice way to get salt and protein
back into an overheated system.
