Challenge of the Heart
  Barony of Dun Carraig
  April 22, 2006

The Barony of Dun Carraig invites the gentle folk of the Knowne World to a Grand Tourney to be held in the style and fashion of Northern Europe in the late 14th Century. Come and join us in a celebration of great feats of arms, of colorful heraldry, of delights of the senses and of the palate. Please make a place on your personal calendar to come to Dun Carraig in April. We promise an exhibition of feats of arms for which the Kingdom of Atlantia is so well known.
  Fighting:
Heavy & Rapier: The day shall include tourneys of three-person teams, no more than one Knight or White Scarf per team, please. Each Barony in Atlantia is challenged to produce teams with its heavy and/or rapier champion to vie for the prize as well as any team of three worthies from across the Known World.
Activities will include – A grand Melee, a series of randomly selected challenges to include all of the teams, and an open field for challenges between the teams. Teams are strongly encouraged to bring with them a Herald to announce their challenges for the entertainment of the gallery.
Prizes: (one each for Heavy & Rapier)
Winning team: 3 Cloaks with the mark of the Challenge. These cloaks are made from wool with silver clasps. The cloaks are made by Lady Siobhán, and Lady Luce Antony Venus.
