Good gentles -
My lady Sarah and I discovered two other resources, in
Richmond, which may be of interest to you.
At Staples Mill and Hungry Springs, just NNW of Richmond,
there is a small shopping mall called Staples Mill Plaza. Tucked
away there are two resources, one of which had been previously unknown to us.
First, there is a Tandy's Leather Factory outlet, redolent
with that leather smell, and packed to the gun'ls with leather,
tools, supplies, and related stuff. They're having a sale, and they
have free catalogs.
Second, next door to that, is that ultimate resource: a Used
Book Store, which apparently has no name other than "Books". The
proprietors are retiring and selling all their stock at
half-price. They're also selling the bookshelves, for $10
each. Among other content, they have SF and mystery.
The Tandy store assures me that they will not close down
before the sun burns out. The book store, OTOH, will close
completely by the end of July.
         Humbly submitted for your consideration,
-- Britton Morgan
