[MR] Heavy fighting at Storvik Novice and Unbelt Tourney

Storvik Novice and Unbelt tourney, July 8, is a great opportunity for new
and un-belted fighters. The novice tourney is for anyone whose first heavy
authorization, regardless of weapons form or kingdom, was less than 12
months before the date of the tourney, July 8, 2006. The un-belted tourney
is for anyone that has not been elevated to the order of the chivalry. Any

Since we will be doing a great number of authorizations in the morning we
encourage some of the more experienced un-belted fighters to come and warm
up for the unbelted tourney by being the opponent in an authorization or two
in the morning. Members of the chivalry are invited to help with
authorizations as well. Each authorization requires 2 marshals and an
opponent for the candidate. Bring every weapons form you know as we expect
not only first time authorizations, but fighters wishing to try their hand
at a new weapons form at the impending Pennsic war, to authorize too.
Members of the chivalry are encouraged to play the trifecta, help with
authorizations in the morning, support their squires in the un-belted
tourney in the afternoon, then put on their armor and fight in the northern
regional war practice later in the same afternoon.
